mgbutterfly talked me into signing up for a challenge over at spn_dailylife. I started off gangbusters - outline, some dialogue, I was pretty happy with it as a start. But then with moving and the new job I just ran out of time to do it justice. :-(
But I finished it in under deadline and did the best I could.
The challenge was flowers and their meanings. I had:
Can’t live without you
Thanks to mgbutterfly for keeping me on task and not letting me get away with too much pissy-face.
It's gen SPN with some brotherly shmoop and angst. Hardly even any bad words... I must be slipping.

Title: Between Dust and Blood
Fandom SPN
Rating: R for language, m/m relationship
Disclaimer: Not mine, sadly, not mine
Summary: At the edge of town, two men sit on a porch and watch nothing; waiting to die.
A/N: Written for the "From Ashes..." Supernatural fic-a-thon. I had #29 - Rise Against “Dancing for Rain”. Beta provided lovingly and with appropriate whipping nudging by mgbutterfly.

Rating: Adult/Slash (although you can skip the ending and avoid the slash if you like - it's pretty gratuitous)
Disclaimer: I claim no ownership, make no money, I just drink the beer
Summary: Peeling labels was another thing Sam did when he was preoccupied with something. Usually a historical something. But Dean had been through all the dates, birth dates, death dates, 'oops I didn't mean to shoot you' dates, 'sorry but I was possessed' dates, you nearly died dates, I nearly died dates and nothing matched up.
A/N: Thanks to my partner in crime mgbutterfly, the awesomest enabler. She's the reason I'm writing again.

Title: That Thing We'll Never Talk About. Ever.
Author: Barkeep
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairings: (that's part of the thing we'll never talk about... ever)
Rating: PG-13 for language
Summary: "I mean, at what point did this veer into weird for you?"

A/N: This is crack. Complete crack. It's not my fault. I blame nixwilliams for telling me to write Ash porn, which is what started this crack on it's road to crack-ville. (Sorry sweets, I managed Ash but not quite the porn...) Also to blame is mgbutterfly who enabled the hell out of this (and smacked it with her beta-spoon).
They're to blame for the crack, not me. Remember that, people.

Rating: Adult - knife kink, language

Sam was so predictable, his buttons just laying out there, begging to be pushed.

My first Wincest. And it's (blush) kinky and stuff.
For mgbutterfly who enabled the hell out of this. AFU, honey.
The literate will notice a shout out to eighth_horizon whose fic rocks beyond belief.

So months ago I promised hinokumo some SGA p0rn. I got about half way through with it and then I fell off the grid. Now I'm back in the saddle again (so to speak) but this one feels weird to me - disjointed, you know? And I don't know if it's because I left it alone for so long or because I'm rusty or because it's just crap (or hell, possibly all three). I'd appreciate any thoughts or critiques anyone cares to leave on this.

Thanks to hinokumo for enabling me and mgbutterfly for enabling and betaing and beer (BEER!).

So, yeah, I wrote this just over a week ago when I was supposed to be finishing my portfolio for that darn MLS. It's just a weird angsty in-between piece that stemmed from the look on Dean's face when John was whispering to him in IMTOD and other odd Dean moments in Simon Said and Bloodlust. Also, having watched Simon Said would be helpful to understanding this piece.

As soon as I saw Trinity I had an idea that I knew I had to write. Circumstances prevented me from having an uninterrupted hour in order to get it right until yesterday. Hopefully it was worth the wait - if not, at least it's out of my head. :-)

Well, I wrote this fic for a challenge that I thought ended today but apparently ends September 18th. Oh well, it's not like I'll have more time to work on it later. Thanks and big smooches to sweeneybird for making time for me and for making the ending work.

Posting this here so I don't lose it.
This was the challenge from sga_flashfic two weeks ago.
The challenge word was blood.
I'm not big on warnings that spoil plot so just beware that this is very dark and disturbing - not my normal fic. Don't say I didn't warn you...

It's sweeneybird's fault. I sent her an email to bitch about the proliferation of SG:A stories that reduce McKay to a quivering pile of sobbing, unmanly goo after 2 hours of solitary confinement... or a paper cut.
sweeneybird replied, "What is it with scientists and their tiny, tiny tears?" which I found really funny and then I found myself writing a SG:A badfic just to make her laugh. I hope y'all find it equally funny and horrifying.

Intentionally bad fic ahead...
